The client required an independent engineering partner to validate contractor billing for completed civil works across multiple structures and site infrastructure. With large quantities of RCC roads, drainage systems, retaining walls and utility structures executed, there was a strong need for accurate measurement reconciliation and cost validation. The opportunity was to ensure transparency between contractor submissions and actual executed quantities while supporting project closure. PMG’s multidisciplinary engineering team was engaged to provide structured verification, measurement and reconciliation services. This helped the client achieve financial clarity and technical assurance before final bill settlement.
PMG conducted detailed site measurements, drawing-based verification and BOQ reconciliation across all civil work packages including roads, drains, retaining walls, paving and structural works. Each contractor billing item was cross-checked with site execution quantities and engineering drawings. Variations, claims and discrepancies were identified and documented with technical justification. Reinforcement and concrete consumption reconciliation was also performed to ensure material accountability. A structured reporting system was implemented to support transparent discussions between client and contractor and to finalize the certified quantities.
The client received a fully validated civil quantity reconciliation report enabling accurate final bill settlement and cost control. Discrepancies between billed and executed quantities were identified and resolved through engineering verification. The independent review strengthened confidence between stakeholders and ensured fair contractor payment. PMG’s involvement helped accelerate project closure while maintaining technical integrity and financial transparency. The structured verification approach also created a reference framework for future project audits and cost validation exercises.
