Technical Leader

As an Associate Technical Leader – Drafting & Modeling, you will lead the drafting and modeling function for large-scale industrial and factory infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for experienced professionals ready to ensure drawing accuracy, enforce design standards, mentor drafting teams, and drive coordination across engineering disciplines.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead preparation and review of 2D drawings and 3D models across civil, mechanical, and electrical disciplines.
  • Establish and enforce drafting standards, templates, and quality benchmarks.
  • Oversee preparation of GA drawings, layout drawings, and detailed fabrication drawings.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary model integration and clash detection activities.
  • Review and approve drawings before submission to clients or project teams.
  • Guide and mentor Executives, Trainees, and drafting engineers.
  • Manage drawing revision control, document management, and version tracking systems.


Qualifications

  • Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related engineering field.
  • 5+ years of experience in industrial drafting, modeling, or BIM coordination.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D modeling tools (Revit, SolidWorks, or similar).
  • Deep understanding of engineering drawing standards and documentation systems.
  • Experience in team leadership and cross-functional coordination.
