As an Assistant Technical Trainee – Mechanical Engineering, you will undergo structured on-the-job training while contributing to industrial and factory infrastructure projects.
This role is designed for fresh mechanical engineering graduates who are ready to apply technical fundamentals in real-world plant design, utility systems, and project execution environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparation and review of mechanical equipment layouts and GA drawings.
- Support development of piping layouts and industrial utility routing plans.
- Assist in HVAC, compressed air, steam, chilled water, and other utility system planning.
- Contribute to equipment sizing and preparation of technical specifications.
- Support vendor data review and technical comparison sheets.
- Assist in preparation of BOQs and quantity take-offs for mechanical works.
Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong academic foundation in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and machine design.
- Basic understanding of industrial utilities and mechanical systems (preferred).
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar drafting tools.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and engineering documentation tools.
