As an Assistant Technical Intern – Mechanical Engineering, you will support the mechanical engineering team in designing and executing large-scale industrial and factory infrastructure projects.
This role provides practical exposure to mechanical systems, utilities design, equipment layouts, and cross-functional engineering coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparation and review of mechanical equipment layouts and GA drawings.
- Support development of piping layouts and utility routing plans.
- Help in preparation of equipment specifications and technical documentation.
- Assist in HVAC, compressed air, steam, chilled water, and other utility system planning.
- Support vendor data review and technical comparison sheets.
Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems and industrial utilities.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar drafting tools (preferred).
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and engineering documentation tools.
