At PMG Engineering, we build benchmark factories in the Food & Beverage industry. As an Assistant Technical Intern – Process Engineering, you will work alongside experienced engineers and gain real-world exposure to industrial process design and project execution.
This is not a classroom internship — it is a hands-on opportunity to understand how world-class factories are designed and delivered.
Key Responsibilities
- Support process engineers in developing Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
- Assist in basic process calculations, equipment sizing, and preparation of technical documentation.
- Contribute to preparation of equipment lists, utility summaries, and process design notes.
- Participate in layout discussions and understand integration of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.
- Research modern process technologies and equipment used in the Food & Beverage industry.
Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Chemical, Mechanical, Food, or Process Engineering.
- Strong academic interest in industrial process systems and plant design.
- Basic understanding of engineering drawings and process diagrams (preferred).
- Familiarity with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Exposure to AutoCAD or similar design tools is an advantage.
