At PMG Engineering, we build benchmark factories in the Food & Beverage industry. As an Assistant Technical Intern – Process Engineering, you will work alongside experienced engineers and gain real-world exposure to industrial process design and project execution.

This is not a classroom internship — it is a hands-on opportunity to understand how world-class factories are designed and delivered.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support process engineers in developing Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
  • Assist in basic process calculations, equipment sizing, and preparation of technical documentation.
  • Contribute to preparation of equipment lists, utility summaries, and process design notes.
  • Participate in layout discussions and understand integration of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.
  • Research modern process technologies and equipment used in the Food & Beverage industry.


Qualifications

  • Pursuing or recently completed B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Chemical, Mechanical, Food, or Process Engineering.
  • Strong academic interest in industrial process systems and plant design.
  • Basic understanding of engineering drawings and process diagrams (preferred).
  • Familiarity with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Exposure to AutoCAD or similar design tools is an advantage.
