500 KLPD Dairy Factory - 3D Modeling

Opportunity. The greenfield project aimed to construct a state-of-the-art 500,000 LPD milk processing facility designed to produce a wide range of traditional dairy products, including pouch milk, curd, paneer, butter, ghee, chaach, lassi, and others, as well as skim and whole milk powder. This facility was envisioned to incorporate cutting-edge technology and processes to ensure high-quality production standards across all product lines.

Solution. We provided comprehensive support for the project by developing a 3D model and virtual walk-through of the factory to aid visualization and decision-making. We also reviewed and consolidated all essential design documents, including flowsheets, P&IDs, building and equipment layouts, and piping layouts, ensuring alignment and clarity across all aspects of the design. Further, we assisted the client in initiating discussions and building strong interfaces with MNCs like Mondelez and Nestlé, facilitating the process of becoming an approved supplier for these global companies.

Outcome. At PMG, we leverage the latest design software to develop comprehensive project details, creating a fully integrated 3D model of the factory. This model encompasses every element, including the building structure, process equipment, industrial services, and other critical aspects. By utilizing this approach, we can efficiently identify and resolve any potential clashes in design and ensure alignment among all stakeholders. The 3D model provides an abstracted and simplified view, enabling each stakeholder to easily understand and review the design, tailored to their specific areas of concern and expertise. This process fosters better collaboration and smoother project execution.
