A food or beverage production line is not a sequence of machines bought one at a time — it is a single flow that begins at raw material receiving and ends at dispatch. PMG Engineering designs that flow end to end, stage by stage, so that hygiene, utilities, material movement and compliance are settled on paper before anything is installed on site.

The line starts before material enters: hygienic receiving areas, zoning that separates raw, clean and finished, and digital logs for traceability, so contamination is prevented at the very first touchpoint. Pre-processing — washing, sorting, peeling, mixing — is laid out for smart equipment placement, correct utility sizing, easy maintenance access and zero cross-flow. Main processing, where cooking, blending, heating, fermentation and extrusion happen, is engineered with precise 2D/3D models, hygienic pipelines and routing, accurate equipment installation drawings and first-time-right utility load calculations, which is what eliminates rework during installation. Quality control is built into the system through sampling points, sensor placements, controlled air pressure zones and real-time IIoT monitoring dashboards, so problems are caught early rather than after the line stops.

Downstream, conveying and transfer — conveyors, screw feeders, hygienic pipelines — are checked for bottlenecks, accurate slopes and distances, zero dead zones and safe operator movement paths. The packaging line, where filling, sealing and labeling make the product market-ready, is supported by line balancing studies, packaging layout optimisation, integration of conveyors, checkweighers and metal detectors, and worker ergonomics. Final inspection places X-ray systems, metal detectors, batch coding stations and visual inspection zones for a fully compliant product, and storage and dispatch — cold rooms, dry stores, dispatch zones — are engineered for fast movement, easy tracking, perfect temperature control and FIFO/LIFO logic.
