Opportunity
Bimbo Bakeries set out to build a new greenfield bakery plant at Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh, bringing multiple specialist contractors - civil, electro-mechanical, PEB and process-equipment vendors - onto a single site. The client needed an independent consultant to hold the overall schedule, cost and quality together and keep execution aligned to approved designs.
Solution
PMG was appointed as Project Management Consultant, deploying a project manager, planning manager, safety officer and civil, electrical and mechanical engineers to site. PMG built an integrated baseline schedule in MS Project, ran a RACI-based governance model, verified running bills, tracked cost and equipment delivery, and monitored quality and HSE across all contractors - reporting to the client daily, weekly and monthly.
Outcome
Execution is driven to a single mechanical-completion milestone with controlled schedule, verified costs and coordinated contractor interfaces, giving the client clear, independent oversight of the plant's construction.
