PMG Engineering has provided end-to-end engineering, procurement, project management and construction supervision for Sayona Drinks Ltd's greenfield beverage factory at Mbeya, Tanzania. The new facility is designed for a capacity of 9 TPH fruit pulp, 7.5 TPH aseptic juice and 6 TPH PET juice, bringing fruit-processing and packaged-juice production together on a single greenfield site. Delivering a multi-line plant of this scale on a new site marks a significant step for beverage manufacturing in the region. This project adds another chapter to PMG's growing portfolio of food-factory engineering.
Executed between February 2015 and September 2016, PMG was engaged across the full project lifecycle, combining engineering design, procurement and contracting, project management and construction supervision under a single coordinated delivery model.
What PMG Delivered:
· Engineering design for the fruit pulp, aseptic juice and PET juice lines and supporting facilities.
· Procurement and contracting for equipment, materials and works packages.
· Project management across schedule, cost and coordination through to completion.
· Construction supervision on site to align execution with the engineering intent and quality requirements.
By integrating design, procurement, project management and on-site supervision, PMG aimed to support hygienic, food-safe and reliable production while keeping delivery aligned to schedule. A coordinated greenfield build helps establish consistent process and packaging standards from day one.
PMG's work for Sayona Drinks Ltd reinforces its position as a trusted engineering partner for greenfield fruit-processing and beverage production facilities, including aseptic and PET juice operations.
