PMG Engineering Completes Engineering and Project Delivery for Nestlé's Coconut Milk Powder Factory Expansion in Sri Lanka

PMG Engineering has completed engineering design, project management, construction supervision and procurement support for Nestlé's coconut milk powder factory expansion at Kurunegala, in Sri Lanka's North Western Province. The expansion added 30 TPD of coconut milk powder capacity at one of the region's significant food manufacturing locations. Strengthening dependable, export-grade production of a high-value coconut-based product, the engagement underscores PMG's ability to support leading global brand owners. This project adds another chapter to PMG's growing portfolio of food-factory engineering.

Executed between April 2017 and January 2018, the assignment saw PMG engaged across engineering design, project management, construction supervision, and procurement and contracting, providing the client a coordinated, single-window delivery model from design through commissioning.

What PMG Delivered:

· Engineering design for the coconut milk powder processing facility, covering process and supporting disciplines required for a hygienic, food-grade production environment.

· Project management to coordinate schedule, scope and stakeholders across the expansion and keep delivery aligned to the client's objectives.

· Construction supervision to ensure works were executed to specification, with attention to quality and safety on site.

· Procurement and contracting support to source and contract the equipment and services needed for the expansion.

As an expansion of an existing operation, the project demanded careful integration with live facilities while upholding the food safety, hygiene and reliability standards expected of a global food brand. PMG's coordinated approach supported an efficient, on-time delivery for the additional coconut milk powder capacity.
