PMG Engineering Completes Factory Design for Golden Oil Industries' Edible Oil Refinery in Onitsha, Nigeria

PMG Engineering has completed the engineering design for Golden Oil Industries' edible oil refinery factory at Onitsha, Anambra, Nigeria. Executed as a greenfield development, the project established the full engineering basis for a new edible oil refining facility from the ground up. The successful delivery of a comprehensive design package marks an important step in enabling reliable, hygienic edible oil production at the site. This project adds another chapter to PMG's growing portfolio of food-factory engineering.

Executed between October 2020 and June 2022, the engagement saw PMG provide Engineering Design services across the lifecycle of the factory's design development.

What PMG Delivered:

· End-to-end engineering design for a greenfield edible oil refinery factory, covering the layout, process and supporting engineering disciplines required to build the facility.

A well-considered factory design lays the foundation for food safety, hygienic processing, operational reliability and efficient use of space and utilities, helping the facility meet the standards expected of a modern edible oil refinery.
