Overview
Cost Management provides comprehensive project cost tracking combining
budget planning, expenditure tracking,
resource allocation, and cost performance
dashboards. Compare planned vs actual costs, track spending trends
with S-curve charts, and view cross-project cost summaries — all in one
place.

Resource Allocation
The Resource Plan tab lets you allocate planned hours per
team member, per deliverable, per month. This creates the baseline for your
cost comparison:
Select a team member.
Select the deliverable they will work on.
Set the month and planned hours.
Add optional notes.
The system enforces uniqueness — you cannot create duplicate allocations for
the same member-deliverable-month combination.
Planned hours are multiplied by the member's hourly rate
(set at the workspace level) to calculate planned costs.

Cost Comparison
The Planned vs Actual tab compares your resource plan
against actual logged hours. For each team member, the system shows:
