Build structured handover packages with folder hierarchies
Overview
Handover Documentation manages project closeout and handover packages. Each
package provides a structured folder hierarchy where you
can organize items by type (drawings, reports, manuals, certificates,
warranties, specifications). Items can link to existing project documents or
hold direct file uploads. The system tracks completion percentage
and supports a formal acceptance workflow.

Creating a Package
Click Add on the Handover Docs page:
Title — the package name (e.g. "Mechanical Systems Handover").
Description — what this package covers.
The package is created in Preparation status with an
auto-generated number (e.g. HDV-0001). You can now build the
internal folder structure.

Building the Structure
Inside a package, create a hierarchical folder structure:
Create top-level folders (e.g. "Drawings", "Reports", "Certificates").
Create nested sub-folders (e.g. "P&ID", "GA Drawings" under "Drawings").
