Overview
The Contracts app formalises vendor engagements beyond
individual purchase orders. Use it for long-term agreements, service
contracts, subcontracts, and framework agreements. Each contract captures
the full commercial relationship — scope, value, milestones, amendments,
performance evaluations, and bond/insurance requirements.

Creating a Contract
Click New Contract to set up a vendor agreement:
Contract number — auto-generated in the format
CON-XXXX for consistent tracking.
Contract type — select from seven types:
Lump Sum, Rate Contract, Time & Material, AMC (Annual Maintenance
Contract), Consultancy, Subcontract, or Framework Agreement.
Linked PO — optionally link the contract to an
existing Purchase Order for traceability.
Vendor — select from approved vendors in your
registry.
Scope & value — describe the work scope,
contract value, currency, and duration (start and end dates).
