Product BOM — Production — Workspace
Define bill of materials for finished products with versioning.
Overview
A Product BOM (Bill of Materials) is the recipe of raw
materials needed to manufacture a finished product. Each BOM lists every
ingredient (raw material) with the quantity required per unit of output.
BOMs are versioned, so when you modify an ingredient list the version
increments automatically, and production orders record which BOM version
they used.

Creating a BOM
To create a new Product BOM:
Navigate to Product BOM and click
Add Product.
The system auto-generates a unique product code (PRD-0001,
PRD-0002, etc.).
Enter the Product Name and optional
description.
Select the Unit of Measure for the finished
product.
Add tags and upload a product image if desired.
Save — the BOM is created in Inactive
status.
New BOMs always start as inactive so you can define all ingredients
before activating them for use in production.
