Line BOM — Production — Workspace
Define production lines with assets, manpower, and maintenance.
Overview
A Line BOM represents a production line (manufacturing
line, assembly line, or packaging line) in your facility. Each Line BOM
defines the physical assets assigned to the line, the manpower required,
the building/section location, and maintenance schedules. Line BOMs are
used in conjunction with Product BOMs to create the routing matrix that
drives production planning.

Creating a Line
To define a new production line:
Navigate to Line BOM and click
Add Line.
The system auto-generates a unique line code (LN-0001, LN-0002,
etc.).
Enter the Line Name and optional description.
Select the Building and Section
where the line is located.
Add tags for categorisation.
Save — the line is created in Inactive
status.

Asset Assignment
Assign the physical equipment that makes up the production line:
Use the multi-select field to choose assets from your asset
register.
All selected assets are linked to this line, making it easy to
see which…
