Onboarding — Workspace Help
Give every new hire a structured journey — build a workflow of tasks and trainings, assign a mentor, track progress, and close with a final feedback survey.
Overview
The Onboarding app turns the first weeks of a new hire into a structured,
tracked journey instead of a checklist in a document. HR builds an
onboarding workflow — a sequenced set of tasks and
trainings (acknowledge a policy, complete a course, attend a meeting,
receive an asset, fill a form, or a generic checkpoint) — then assigns
it to each new hire along with a mentor. The whole journey
is tracked on a progress overview page. Onboarding is
HR- and mentor-driven: new hires do not log in;
the task owners (HR, IT, the manager, and the mentor) mark tasks complete on
their behalf. The one task type that verifies itself is course completion,
which is read automatically from eLearning.

Seeing Where Everyone Is
The New Hires tab opens on the Journey view
— one card per person, built to answer the question a percentage
can’t: what is this hire waiting on, and is it late? Each card
shows a progress ring, where the person sits on their own schedule
(“Day 4 of 30”, or “Starts in 6 days” before they
join), and the next task with whoever owes it…
