Overview
The Attendance app is a complete time-and-attendance system built into
Workspace — a replacement for biometric machines and third-party
attendance subscriptions. Employees punch in and out from the mobile app,
a web browser, or a shared kiosk tablet. Each punch is
checked against a verification policy that HR composes
(GPS geofence, office WiFi, a live selfie, a registered device, or the
corporate network), stamped with the server's own authoritative time, and
recorded permanently — it can never be edited. From those punches the
system computes each person's daily status (present, late,
half day, absent), reconciles it with holidays, approved leaves, and
verified WFH, and hands the whole period to Payroll in one click.

Punching In and Out
Punching is the everyday action for employees. Depending on how your
workspace is configured you punch from one of three places:
Mobile — the richest option. The app can
capture your location, the WiFi access point you are connected to,
and a selfie with a quick liveness challenge (blink, turn, or smile).
