Overview
The Assets app provides comprehensive lifecycle management for physical
equipment, machinery, and infrastructure. It covers everything from
registering buildings and organising them into sections, to classifying
assets, performing condition assessments, running three types of
maintenance (preventive, breakdown, and condition-based), and tracking
spare parts across stores. Operations and facility teams use this app to
monitor equipment health, plan maintenance schedules, and ensure spare
parts are always available when needed.

Setup: Buildings and Sections
Assets are organised by physical location using a two-level hierarchy:
Buildings — top-level location containers
(e.g. "Plant A", "Warehouse Block 2", "Admin Building"). You can
upload images for visual identification.
Sections — subdivisions within a building
(e.g. "Ground Floor", "Assembly Bay 3", "Compressor Room"). Each
section belongs to exactly one building.
