A guided tour of the visual and ergonomic improvements rolled out in April 2026.
A more confident look
We rebuilt Workspace's visual language from the ground up. The brand
blue stays, but typography, spacing, and motion have all been
sharpened. Numbers in tables now line up perfectly down the column
(tabular numerals), headings carry more weight, and engineering data
— IDs, codes, drawing references — render in a monospace
face so they read as machine-checkable rather than prose.
Three surfaces, one app
Different screens now feel different on purpose. The marketing /
discovery surface (warm canvas, breathable spacing) is for prospects
and onboarding. The working surface (clean white, tight rhythm) is
where you spend your day. The focus surface (elevated white with a
strong shadow) is for modals and confirmations — the moments
that demand a deliberate choice.
Status accents on every list
Every row in every list screen now carries a 2-pixel left-border
accent in its status colour. Open tasks get a blue stripe; in-progress
get amber; completed get green; blocked get red. Selecting a row
turns the stripe into a fuller fill plus a soft tinted background.
