RFI & Site Instructions — Workspace by PMG Engineering
Formal requests for information and engineer directives
Overview
The RFI & Site Instructions app handles two types of formal site communication:
Request for Information (RFI) — the site team requests clarification from
designers, consultants, or the client about drawings, specs, or design intent.
Site Instruction (SI) — engineers issue formal directives to contractors
regarding how work should be executed.
Both follow the same workflow: Open → Responded → Closed, maintaining a clear audit trail
of every question asked and answer given on the project.
