Travels — Human Resources — Workspace
Ask for a trip, let the travel desk arrange it, and find the ticket on the request instead of in your inbox.
Overview
Travels is a travel desk. You ask for a trip, somebody arranges
it, and the booking reference and the ticket end up attached to your
request — not buried in an email thread. You can also tell
“nobody has looked at this yet” from “we are working on
it” without having to chase anyone.
It is not an expense claim. A trip that costs you money still
goes through Expenses in the usual way — completing a
trip here does not create a claim for you.
It is also not a booking engine and not an approval chain. Your request goes
straight to the travel desk; there is deliberately no
reporting-manager sign-off first, because a second approver doubles the waiting
in a workflow whose whole point is speed.
